Odanadi’s use of various social intervention tools and psychological methods of action are the hallmark of its efforts. For example, its mode of counseling and intervention, known as psycho-social therapy, is an innovative strategy using art forms, martial arts, adventure sports, yoga, acupuncture and meditation, and theatre for the rehabilitation of survivors. The focus is on bringing the victims out of their trauma through unconventional means, giving them the human touch and instilling a sense of self-worth.

Cycle Jatha 2009:
In June 2009, Odanadi has organized a one month cycle jatha from Mysore under the banner “Our Earth Our People”. During this month, 20 girls from Odanadi and 10 westerner volunteers had cycled over 600 km and across 60 villages in Karnataka. In each village, the Odanadi women made presentations about human trafficking and environmental justice, and they planted a tree as a gift from Odanadi and as a reminder about the issues discussed.
